The Sunmight Gold 22214 Open Coated Sheet Roll is a professional-grade abrasive designed for consistent, high-performance sanding across various automotive and industrial applications. This 2-3/4 inch wide by 25 yard long roll with P320 grit ensures a smooth, refined finish for demanding tasks, offering reliability and efficiency for professional technicians and mechanics.

Key Features

Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Engineered for aggressive cutting performance and extended lifespan, this abrasive offers excellent sharpness and durability.
High-Quality Latex Paper Backing: The latex paper provides superior flexibility, allowing the sheet to conform to contours and curves for even sanding and a consistent finish. It also boasts excellent tear resistance and grit adhesion.
Strong Phenolic Resin Bond: This robust bond ensures exceptional heat resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical strength, preventing grain shelling and extending the product's longevity even under high-stress grinding temperatures.
Open Coat Design: Specifically formulated to resist premature loading when sanding various materials, which helps maintain cutting efficiency and prolongs the sheet's usable life.
Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) Backing: Features a convenient stick-on attachment for fast and secure application to compatible sanding blocks or tools, simplifying the sanding process.

Applications

The P320 grit of the Sunmight Gold 22214 sheet roll makes it ideal for critical intermediate sanding steps in professional environments. It is perfectly suited for refining automotive filler, feathering paint edges, and smoothing glaze and spot putty to ensure a flat, uniform surface before primer and paint application. This versatile roll is also effective for general surface preparation, sealer prep, intercoat prep, and fine finishing on metal, wood, marine, and aerospace components.
