6" Trizact Foam Disc P800 - 3M Automotive

Part #: 30806

3M Trizact Structured Abrasive: Utilizes a unique pyramidal abrasive structure that wears evenly, exposing fresh mineral consistently throughout the disc's life. This ensures a uniform scratch pattern and prolonged abrasive performance.
P800 Grit for Fine Finishing: The P800 grit provides a very fine abrasive surface, ideal for refining scratches from previous sanding steps and preparing surfaces for polishing.
6-Inch Diameter: This standard size makes the disc compatible with most 6-inch orbital sanders and hand-sanding blocks, offering versatility in application.
Foam Backing: The integrated foam backing allows the disc to conform more effectively to contoured surfaces and provides uniform pressure distribution, minimizing the risk of gouging.

Automotive Paint Finishing: This 6 inch P800 sanding disc is commonly used for refining clear coat imperfections, removing dust nibs, and leveling orange peel textures on automotive paint surfaces. It prepares the surface for compounding and polishing.
Scratch Refinement: Ideal for efficiently refining scratches generated by coarser abrasives, creating a consistent and shallow scratch pattern before subsequent polishing steps.
Surface Preparation: Prepares various substrates, including solid surfaces, acrylics, and lacquered wood, for final finishing processes like buffing or application of topcoats.
Spot Repair and Blending: Effective for localized defect removal and blending adjacent areas in automotive repair work.

Consistent Finish Quality: The Trizact abrasive technology delivers a uniform and predictable scratch pattern, reducing the need for rework and ensuring high-quality results.
Extended Disc Life: Structured abrasives wear evenly, allowing each 3M Trizact disc to last longer than conventional abrasives, which saves time and material costs.
Efficient Material Removal: Effectively refines defects and prepares surfaces quickly, streamlining the overall sanding and finishing process.
Reduced Swirl Marks: The fine P800 grit and foam backing combine to minimize the creation of deeper swirl marks, significantly easing the subsequent polishing stages.
Improved Conformability: The foam backing allows the disc to follow subtle curves and contours, resulting in a more even finish on irregular surfaces.
