The POR-15 45104 High Performance Rust Preventive Coating is a professional-grade solution designed to permanently halt rust on automotive and industrial metal surfaces. This durable clear coating forms a robust, non-porous barrier that seals out moisture and oxygen, preventing further corrosion. Ideal for restoring and protecting critical components, it ensures long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
Key Features
- Direct Application: Engineered for direct application over rusted, sandblasted, or seasoned metal surfaces, eliminating the need for extensive surface preparation.
- Durable Finish: Dries to a rock-hard, non-porous finish that resists impact and abrasion, maintaining structural integrity.
- Exceptional Adhesion: Formulated to not chip, crack, or peel, even under harsh conditions and flex.
- Corrosion Prevention: Creates an impermeable barrier that protects metal from moisture exposure, effectively preventing rust from recurring.
- Professional Protection: Provides long-term rust protection for components exposed to road salt, chemicals, and industrial elements.
Applications
The POR-15 45104 High Performance Rust Preventive Coating is suitable for a wide range of professional applications where rust prevention is critical. It can be applied to vehicle chassis, frames, floor pans, suspension components, and underbodies to protect against environmental damage. In industrial settings, it is effective for safeguarding machinery, equipment frames, structural steel, and various metal fabrications exposed to corrosive conditions. This coating provides a clear finish, allowing the underlying metal or previous finishes to remain visible while still offering superior rust protection.
