The General Tools & Instruments 10" Contour Gauge (833) is a precision measuring tool used to create templates for duplicate curves or shapes. It features a 10" long, flexible, aluminum beam with a 1" wide strip of 1/32" thick steel along the center. The steel strip is graduated in 1/16" increments, and the beam is marked with a series of holes spaced 1/8" apart. A locking thumbscrew at one end of the beam secures the steel strip in place, and a spring-loaded plunger at the other end allows the user to create templates of any shape.
