This tool is specifically for checking wheel lug nuts to exact manufacturer recommended torque value.
Use in addition to torque limiters to tighten lugs to precise manufacturer recommendations.
Helps prevent the warpage of brake rotors caused by over torquing.
New and improved steel lock ring with heavy duty lock mechanism.
Tough "tire tread" robber cover on head, lock ring and handle provides cushioning effect to reduce operator fatigue and tool damage.
Micrometer-type setting adjusts by rotating the hand-grip.
Heavy duty chrome finish is stamped with English and metric scales.
Calibration services are easily available through KD Tools` authorized repair facility.
The ratchet head features a 45-tooth ratchet design requiring only 8" of hand travel for indexing.
Wrench indicates desired torque by feel and sound and is accurate to 3% clockwise in the upper 80% range.
