The Atlas Automotive ATTD-BP-EXTKIT-BP8 Base Plate Extension Kit is an essential upgrade for enhancing the stability of your Atlas® BP8000 base plate lift. This comprehensive kit addresses common concerns regarding concrete floor integrity by significantly increasing the surface area and anchorage of the lift's columns. It provides professional technicians and mechanics with added confidence and security during vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Features
- Complete Kit for Atlas® BP8000: Specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the Atlas® BP8000 base plate lift.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Includes two robust base extensions built for demanding automotive and industrial environments.
- Enhanced Stability: Increases the column base footprint, improving the overall stability and secure anchoring of the lift to the concrete floor.
- Comprehensive Hardware: Supplied with all necessary anchor bolts and mounting hardware for a straightforward and secure installation.
- Professional Assurance: Engineered to offer greater peace of mind in situations where the precise quality (thickness and PSI) of the concrete floor is uncertain.
Applications
This extension kit is ideal for professional automotive shops and industrial settings where concrete floor conditions may vary. It serves as a practical solution for reinforcing the lift's foundation on floors of unknown or marginally acceptable integrity. While this kit enhances stability and anchorage, it is crucial to understand that it does not increase the rated lifting capacity of the lift and is not a corrective measure for severely compromised concrete. For excessively cracked, flaking, or crumbling concrete, professional consultation regarding floor remediation is strongly recommended before lift installation.
