This replacement armature is specially manufactured for Milwaukee circular saws. It is a genuine item that is sourced from original manufacturer. The armature is the inner portion of an electric motor. If you notice smoke or sparks coming from the vents on the back of your tool, most likely an armature was overloaded causing its the insulation to wear away. Replacing an armature should resolve the issue and prevent further damage. It is advised to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. This item includes an armature and the fan. Please note, the armature bearing and the commutator end bearing are both sold separately.

To complete this repair you should need a screwdriver set, a wrench set and pliers.
