KIT LUG DRILLER LUG NUT REMOVER - CTA Manufacturing Corp.

The CTA Manufacturing Corp. CTA1775 Lug Driller Kit offers a robust and precise solution for professional technicians dealing with stubborn, damaged, or seized lug nuts and wheel locks. This professional-grade system is engineered to safely extract compromised fasteners through a guided drilling process, minimizing the risk of damage to the wheel stud and wheel surface.

Key Features

• Precision-Guided Drilling System: Features a mechanism that accurately centers the drill bit within the lug nut, ensuring controlled and precise drilling without contacting the wheel stud or wheel.
• Ultra-Hard Tungsten Carbide Drill Bits: Includes a selection of durable, purpose-built lug nut drill bits with various sizes and step profiles, specifically designed for efficient removal on a range of automotive applications, including hardened lug bolts found on import vehicles.
• Wheel and Stud Protection: Equipped with multiple centering guides (nylon internal, metal external, and free-turning) that minimize bit walk-off, safeguarding expensive aluminum and alloy wheels during operation.
• Comprehensive Professional Kit: This organized lug driller kit contains all necessary drill bits for lug nuts, extractors, guides, and accessories, providing a complete solution for efficient setup and use in demanding shop environments.
• Efficient Operation: Designed for quick and safe removal of difficult locking lug bolts, with an approximate operation time of 8-13 minutes per wheel.

Applications

The CTA1775 is an indispensable tool for professional technicians addressing stubborn fasteners during tire, brake, and suspension service. It effectively resolves issues such as stripped, rounded, corroded, or swollen lug nuts, as well as situations involving missing wheel lock keys. This kit is essential when conventional impact sockets, twist sockets, splitters, or dedicated lock key sets prove ineffective or risk damaging expensive wheels. It provides a reliable method for over-torqued fasteners, compromised OEM lug nuts with swollen caps, and seized hardware commonly found on fleet and rust-belt vehicles, including those with hard metal lug bolts often seen on import applications.
