Duraglas Fiberglass Body Filler Rustproof Waterproof Quart - US Chemical & Plastics

US Chemical & Plastics Duraglas Fiberglass Body Filler (24035) is a heavy-duty, fiberglass-reinforced solution engineered for structural repairs in demanding automotive and industrial environments. This robust formula provides a rigid, durable fill that effectively withstands high-stress and high-moisture conditions, ensuring reliable, long-lasting restorations with inherent rustproof and waterproof properties.

Key Features

• Exceptional Structural Strength: Formulated with short-strand fiberglass, this filler delivers superior rigidity and strength, ideal for repairing rusted-out sections, larger holes, and high-load areas on vehicle body panels and structural components.
• Advanced Corrosion and Moisture Protection: Its advanced formulation actively resists corrosion and is 100% waterproof, helping to prevent rust recurrence in repaired areas such as rocker panels and wheel arches, thereby extending repair lifespan.
• Broad Substrate Adhesion: Duraglas adheres securely to a wide range of properly prepared surfaces, including steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, fiberglass, wood, masonry, and various plastics, offering a versatile repair solution across diverse OEM and aftermarket applications.
• Professional Finishing Qualities: This filler cures to a dense, consistent surface that is easy to shape, block-sand, prime, and topcoat with standard refinish systems. It typically allows for sanding within 15-20 minutes at 77°F, supporting efficient workflow in professional shops.
• Optimized Workability: Engineered for controlled working time and optimal spreadability, facilitating efficient application on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. Its gel time of approximately 3-5 minutes at 77°F supports streamlined repair processes.

Applications

Duraglas Fiberglass Body Filler is widely used for automotive body repair on passenger cars, light trucks, commercial vehicles, and fleet equipment, effectively addressing rust holes, bridging larger gaps, and rebuilding damaged panels. Its waterproof characteristics also make it suitable for marine fiberglass repair on boats and personal watercraft, as well as for industrial equipment, trailers, and structural fiberglass restoration projects requiring a rigid, moisture-resistant repair.
