Fusor 803DTM Direct to Metal Sealant Black 12/Case - Norton Company

The Norton Company Fusor 803DTM Direct to Metal Sealant (also known as Lord Fusor 803DTM) is a professional-grade, one-component, moisture-cure seam sealer engineered for rigorous automotive collision repair and industrial metal fabrication. This advanced sealant provides a durable, flexible, and corrosion-resistant seal directly to properly prepared metal substrates, streamlining repair processes and enhancing overall efficiency for professional technicians.

Key Features

• Direct-to-Metal Application: Bonds effectively to cold-rolled steel, e-coat, and aluminum, eliminating the need for additional priming steps and accelerating the repair workflow.
• Durable & Flexible Seal: Formulated with a silane-terminated polymer, it delivers a high-strength, non-brittle seal with up to 500% elongation, capable of absorbing body flex and impacts without cracking.
• Corrosion Protection: Forms a robust, moisture-resistant barrier on bare metal seams, actively preventing rust and extending component lifespan in collision and structural repairs.
• Efficient Processing: Skins over in approximately 25 minutes at 70°F (21°C) and can be painted immediately or up to 30 days later without scuffing, integrating smoothly into various repair schedules.
• OEM Approvals: Approved by Nissan and Ford for collision and warranty repair, ensuring compliance with original equipment manufacturer procedures for critical applications.

Applications

The Fusor 803DTM is ideal for replicating factory appearances on standing and cosmetic seams, truck bed seams, door skin seams, floor pans, and core supports. It is widely utilized in collision repair and restoration work on Nissan, Ford, and other late-model vehicles that require OEM-approved seam sealers. This sealant also serves heavy-duty truck, bus, trailer, and general metal fabrication where a non-sag, direct-to-metal cosmetic seam sealer is required.
