Selectline Superpump Hand Vacuum Pump 32cc - Mityvac

The Mityvac MV8121 Selectline Superpump is a professional-grade 32cc hand vacuum pump designed for automotive and industrial technicians requiring efficient and consistent vacuum generation. This robust tool is a reliable solution for a wide range of diagnostic and fluid service tasks in demanding shop environments and field operations.

Key Features

• High-Volume 32cc Stroke: Displacing twice the volume per stroke compared to standard hand pumps, this Superpump rapidly generates up to 25 in Hg (85 kPa) of vacuum. This feature significantly reduces the time needed for testing and evacuation, especially in applications involving volumes greater than 1 quart (950 ml).
• Precise Manual Control: The hand-operated design, coupled with a one-finger vacuum release lever, allows for fine adjustment of vacuum levels, crucial for sensitive diagnostic work and delicate operations.
• Durable PVC Construction: Built with tough, non-corrosive, and chemical-resistant PVC, this pump offers longevity and safe operation around painted surfaces and underhood plastics, while remaining unaffected by wet or humid conditions.
• Lightweight & Ergonomic Design: Weighing only 0.5 lb (332 g), its contoured, comfortable grip minimizes technician fatigue during prolonged or repetitive diagnostic and bleeding procedures.
• Serviceable for Extended Life: Designed for easy maintenance, the pump is supported by readily available service parts and maintenance kits, ensuring continued operation and extending its service life to reduce replacement costs.

Applications

This versatile hand vacuum pump is an indispensable tool for professional automotive technicians, fleet maintenance teams, and industrial service personnel, facilitating tasks such as:

• Diagnosing vacuum lines, MAP/boost sensors, EGR and EVAP components, actuators, and solenoids across various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and light commercial models.
• Facilitating efficient one-person brake and clutch bleeding on hydraulic systems.
• Performing small-volume fluid transfer, evacuation, and sampling from reservoirs, master cylinders, and other small tanks.
• Verifying vacuum integrity in automotive HVAC controls and other compact pneumatic systems.
• Testing turbocharger wastegates and cooling systems for leaks.
