6 PC PROGRIP Hose Pick Set - Mayhew Tools

The Mayhew 13097 6 PC PROGRIP Hose Pick Set is designed for professional technicians requiring robust and precise tools for challenging automotive, diesel, and industrial service tasks. This specialized set provides the necessary leverage and control to efficiently service stubborn hoses, O-rings, and seals without damaging critical components. It is an essential addition for mechanics working on a broad range of vehicles and machinery.

Key Features

• Durable, Professional-Grade Construction: Features hardened, high-quality steel shafts that provide superior strength and rigidity for prying, lifting, and separating hoses and seals, ensuring reliable performance in demanding daily use.
• Ergonomic PROGRIP Handles: Oversized, cushioned handles are engineered for a secure and comfortable grip, even when working with oily or gloved hands, which helps reduce user fatigue during repetitive or extended tasks.
• Versatile Hook & Pick Profiles: Includes a selection of straight, 90°, offset, and hook tips, offering improved access and maneuverability around clamps, fittings, and tight clearances often encountered in crowded engine compartments and undercar areas.
• Controlled, Damage-Minimizing Removal: Fine tips allow for precise lifting and separating of components, helping to prevent common damage such as gouging of aluminum housings, marring of machined sealing surfaces, or breakage of plastic quick-connects.

Applications

This set is suitable for a wide spectrum of vehicles and industrial equipment, including passenger cars, light trucks, heavy-duty fleets, and off-road machinery. Common applications involve radiator and heater hose service, fuel and EVAP line work, turbo and intercooler connections, transmission and differential seals, and general hydraulic/pneumatic system maintenance.
