ColorConnex Type C 1/4" Body Coupler & Plug Kit Blue Anodized 14 - Legacy Manufacturing

The Legacy Manufacturing ColorConnex Type C 1/4" Body Coupler & Plug Kit (A72458C) provides a professional-grade solution for organizing and optimizing pneumatic systems in demanding automotive and industrial settings. This 14-piece kit, distinguished by its blue anodized finish, allows technicians to visually manage air lines, reducing connection errors and enhancing operational efficiency. Engineered for robust performance, this system is instrumental in preventing cross-contamination between lubricated and dry air lines, crucial for maintaining tool longevity and application integrity.

Key Features

• Visual Air Line Management: The patented ColorConnex system employs a blue anodized finish for Type C (Automotive Industrial Interchange) fittings, enabling instant visual differentiation of pneumatic circuits. This facilitates dedicated assignment of air lines, preventing the mixing of oiled and non-oiled tools.
• Industrial Interchange Compatibility: Designed with Type C industrial interchange fittings, this kit ensures seamless integration with common pneumatic quick-connect systems prevalent in professional automotive and industrial facilities.
• Robust Construction: Crafted from durable steel and 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, these components are built to withstand demanding daily use, frequent connections, and exposure to various shop contaminants.
• Optimized System Performance: Precision-machined components contribute to leak-resistant connections, helping maintain consistent line pressure and tool output. The kit is rated for a maximum pressure of 300 PSI and 34 CFM, supporting efficient operation and potentially minimizing compressor cycling.
• Comprehensive 14-Piece Kit: This kit includes a versatile selection of 1/4" body couplers and plugs (2 Female Threaded Couplers, 2 Male Threaded Couplers, 4 Female Threaded Plugs, and 6 Male Threaded Plugs), offering a complete solution for new hose drops or standardizing existing quick-connect points.

Applications

This ColorConnex kit is engineered for professional automotive repair shops, fleet maintenance operations, and general service bays seeking to standardize air connections for a wide array of pneumatic tools. It is particularly valuable for establishing dedicated lines for tire service, heavy impact work, body and paint preparation, and general assembly tasks on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and commercial vehicles. Additionally, it is well-suited for industrial manufacturing, fabrication, and woodworking environments where organized, dedicated air circuits enhance operational efficiency and prevent misconnection errors.
