ColorConnex Type B 1/4" Body Coupler & Plug Kit Green 14 Pc - Legacy Manufacturing

The Legacy Manufacturing ColorConnex Type B 1/4" Body Coupler & Plug Kit (A71458B) provides a robust and organized solution for professional pneumatic systems. This 14-piece set features durable, green anodized fittings designed to help technicians standardize air lines, prevent misconnections, and streamline workflows in automotive and industrial settings. The ColorConnex system uses color matching to ensure correct connections and eliminate cross-contamination between air lines dedicated to specific applications, such as lubricated versus dry air.

Key Features

• Type B Industrial Interchange Compatibility: These 1/4" body couplers and plugs are engineered for broad compatibility, integrating seamlessly with most common shop air systems, compressors, hoses, and pneumatic tools. They conform to ARO interchange standards (Type B).
• Color-Coded Identification (Green): The distinct green anodized finish facilitates easy assignment of fittings to specific circuits, such as paint sprayers, general service air tools, or nitrogen systems, ensuring correct connections and reducing setup time. This prevents accidental mixing of different air media.
• Comprehensive 14-Piece Kit: This practical assortment provides a complete solution for outfitting multiple hoses, wall drops, or air tools directly from the box, including male and female couplers and plugs.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from a combination of steel and 6061 T-6 aircraft aluminum, these fittings are built to withstand frequent connect/disconnect cycles and the rigorous demands of automotive repair, fleet maintenance, and industrial operations, ensuring long-term reliability. They are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi.
• Optimized Airflow Design: Internal passages are designed to support consistent air pressure and maximize tool performance for high-demand pneumatic tools, including impact wrenches, ratchets, and grinders.

Applications

This ColorConnex kit is an ideal solution for automotive repair shops, collision centers, tire and wheel service facilities, fleet maintenance operations, and industrial MRO departments. Use this kit to standardize quick-connect fittings across your air compressor, hose reels, and air drops, and to clearly mark dedicated lines for specific uses. It is suitable for general service on passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles where reliable 1/4" industrial interchange air fittings are required.
