DIGITAL WS400 SERIES S2 CLEAR - Iwata

The Iwata DIGITAL WS400 SERIES S2 CLEAR (2714D) is engineered for professional refinish technicians seeking precision and efficiency in clear coat applications. This spray gun combines advanced atomization technology with integrated digital pressure monitoring to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes, reducing both setup time and the need for rework in demanding automotive and industrial environments.

Key Features

• Split Nozzle™ 2.0 Technology: Optimized for low-VOC and high-solids clear coats, this technology provides fine and controlled atomization, resulting in a flat, uniform finish with minimal texture.
• Integrated DPG-1 Digital Manometer: Offers immediate and accurate inlet pressure readings directly at the gun, ensuring consistent application and enhanced repeatability across various jobs and users. Its "Click-Mag" mount allows for quick detachment during cleaning.
• PVD-Treated Gun Body: The Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) finish provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface, designed to withstand daily shop use and exposure to a range of solvents while maintaining its professional appearance.
• High Delivery (HD) Nozzle Options: Includes a selection of HD nozzle sizes (1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5) to effectively manage diverse clear coat viscosities, application speeds, and varying booth conditions, including higher temperatures.
• Ergonomic Pininfarina Design: Developed in collaboration with Pininfarina, the balanced and lightweight body minimizes operator fatigue during extended clear coat applications, improving control for consistent passes on large surfaces.

Applications

This professional-grade spray gun is an ideal tool for a variety of high-demand applications:

• Automotive Refinishing: Delivers exceptional clear coat results on passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
• OEM-Style & Restoration: Suitable for achieving original equipment manufacturer-quality finishes and high-gloss restoration projects.
• Collision Repair: Effective for tasks such as panel blends, spot repairs, and comprehensive resprays.
• Versatile Basecoat Use: HD setups can also be employed for basecoat applications where a slightly wetter finish is preferred, particularly in higher booth temperatures or with fast-drying paint systems.
