Key Features

• Extended Reach Design: Each driver features an extra-long shaft, with an overall length of 15-3/4 inches, specifically designed for accessing deeply recessed or obstructed fasteners within engine bays, steering columns, dashboards, and equipment housings.
• Tamperproof Torx Compatibility: Precision-machined tips are crafted to fit security Torx screws that incorporate a center pin, offering a true tamperproof Torx solution for modern automotive, machinery, and control panel applications.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from durable S-2 steel, these tools are built for consistent daily use in demanding shop environments, designed to withstand repeated engagement with stubborn, high-torque fasteners.
• Secure Fastener Engagement: The accurate Torx profiles minimize cam-out and stripping, preserving both the integrity of the fastener and the driver, ensuring reliable operation and tool longevity.
• Comprehensive 6-Piece Coverage: This set includes frequently encountered sizes: T-10, T-15, T-20, T-25, T-27, and T-30, reducing the need to search for individual drivers.

Applications

This extra long tamperproof Torx driver set is ideal for servicing security-style Torx fasteners found in steering columns, airbag and restraint systems, interior trim, and dash panels across a variety of domestic and import vehicles utilizing tamper-resistant hardware. It is also well-suited for electronics and appliance repair where an extra long Torx screwdriver is necessary to reach fasteners embedded in plastic or metal housings. Additionally, it is frequently used on industrial machinery guards, HVAC units, and electrical/control panels that rely on security Torx in tight or recessed locations.
