R134A 60" HOSE SET - ATD Tools

The ATD Tools 3673 R134A 60" Hose Set delivers a professional-grade solution for automotive technicians and mechanics engaged in the maintenance and repair of R134A automotive air conditioning systems. This hose set is engineered to provide the essential reach and durability required for precise refrigerant handling, ensuring secure, leak-resistant connections during critical AC service procedures.

Key Features

• Extended 60-inch Reach: Each hose measures 60 inches, offering ample length to comfortably access AC service ports across a wide array of vehicle configurations, enhancing flexibility during operation.
• Durable Construction: Built with robust materials, these hoses are designed to endure high pressures and frequent professional use. The SAE J2196 Nylon barrier hose offers an 800 PSI working pressure and a 4,000 PSI burst pressure for reliable performance and minimized refrigerant permeation.
• Secure Brass Fittings: Equipped with high-quality brass fittings, the set ensures secure and leak-resistant connections, which helps to minimize refrigerant loss and environmental impact during AC service.
• Color-Coded for Convenience: Standard color-coding (red for high side, blue for low side, yellow for service) simplifies identification and helps prevent cross-contamination during refrigerant transfer, streamlining workflow.
• Integrated Auto Shut-off Valve: The yellow service hose includes an auto shut-off valve on one end, enhancing safety by preventing refrigerant discharge when disconnecting.

Applications

This R134A 60" Hose Set is an indispensable tool for professionals performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on R134A automotive AC systems, commonly found in vehicles manufactured between 1994 and approximately 2015. Technicians typically utilize these hoses for:

• Accurately charging and evacuating R134A refrigerant from vehicle air conditioning systems.
• Connecting to AC manifold gauge sets to obtain precise pressure readings during system analysis.
• Conducting vacuum tests to identify leaks in automotive AC lines, which is crucial for system integrity.
• Facilitating efficient refrigerant recovery procedures when servicing or replacing AC components.
