The Eagle Abrasives 6” Super Assilex Dustless Discs (Model 193-1578) are professional-grade sanding discs engineered for efficiency and superior finish in automotive and industrial applications. These 600-grit Sky discs, featuring a 15-hole vacuum-assist pattern, deliver rapid material removal while achieving an exceptionally shallow and uniform scratch pattern, significantly boosting productivity in critical preparation stages.

Key Features

• Advanced Abrasive Technology: Utilizes Super Assilex abrasive technology, providing the cutting speed of a coarser grit with the refined finish of a finer grit, preventing irregular scratches and over-sanding.
• Efficient Dust Extraction: Designed with 15 holes for effective vacuum assist, ensuring a cleaner, healthier work environment and optimal dry sanding performance with an anti-clogging agent.
• Uniform Coverage & Finish: The roller coating process and consistent grain distribution guarantee even and shallow scratch patterns, eliminating unsanded areas and leaving a perfectly prepared surface.
• Flexible & Durable Design: Features ultra-flexible bonding that conforms to concave and convex surfaces, enhancing control and versatility without compromising disc longevity.
• Time-Saving Performance: Engineered for accelerated sanding processes, these discs can reduce preparation time by 50% or more, contributing to increased shop throughput and overall productivity.
• Super-Tack Attachment: Equipped with a robust hook-and-loop (Super-Tack) backing for secure attachment to orbital sanders and quick, hassle-free disc changes.

Applications

These 6” Super Assilex Dustless Discs are ideal for a range of professional tasks demanding precision and a high-quality finish. They excel in automotive body repair for sanding primer surfacer before painting, light scuffing on base coats, and scuffing new parts with ED primer coats. Mechanics and technicians will find them highly effective for blending between repair and non-repair areas, scuffing old paint or bumpers prior to repainting, and efficiently removing wax, incrustations, dirt, and dust from surfaces. The K-600 grit is also suitable for the initial stages of clear coat sanding and final finishing before base coat application.
