The 3M Automotive 8361 Ultrapro Urethane Seam Sealer in Gray provides a professional-grade, one-part, moisture-curing solution for critical collision repair, rust repair, and restoration projects. This heavy paste urethane formula ensures ease of application and tooling, enabling professional technicians to achieve consistent, durable, and OEM-style seam finishes on a variety of vehicle types.
Key Features
- Professional Urethane Chemistry: A high-build, non-sag urethane formula facilitates precise application on vertical and overhead seams, effectively filling gaps and preventing future corrosion.
- Rapid Paint-Ready Time: This sealer skins quickly and is typically ready for painting within 30-45 minutes, significantly optimizing workflow efficiency in busy repair shops.
- Robust Adhesion: Delivers reliable bonds to bare and primed steel, aluminum, and properly prepared painted surfaces. It also functions effectively as a weld-through sealer when using squeeze-type resistance spot welding equipment.
- Lasting Flexibility: Engineered to remain permanently flexible, accommodating common vehicle vibration, panel movement, and temperature fluctuations without cracking or shrinking over time.
- Corrosion and Leak Protection: Effectively seals out water, dust, and air, contributing to long-term corrosion prevention within automotive body seams and joints.
Applications
The 3M Ultrapro Urethane Seam Sealer 8361 is ideal for interior and exterior seams on components such as door skins, rocker panels, rear body panels, trunk gutters, floor pans, wheel housings, door jambs, and hem flanges.
