Key Features

  • Professional-Grade Durability: Manufactured to deliver a robust and lasting thread repair, designed for demanding environments.
  • Precision 8-32 UNC Sizing: Ensures a perfect, consistent fit for standard internal threads, maintaining fastener integrity.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Construction: Features materials designed to resist corrosion, enhancing longevity and performance across diverse operating conditions.
  • Superior Thread Strengthening: Creates a new, robust thread that often exceeds the original tapped thread's strength, preventing future stripping and ensuring a more secure connection.
  • Convenient 12-Pack: Supplied in a practical 12-pack, offering an essential "healer coil" solution for multiple repairs or ongoing projects in professional settings.

Applications

These Heli-Coil 8-32 inserts are indispensable for professional technicians and mechanics. They are ideal for repairing stripped, worn, or damaged 8-32 threads in a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. Common applications include restoring fasteners in automotive engines, marine equipment, aerospace components, and various types of industrial machinery. Use these "heli coils" for preventative maintenance to reinforce existing 8-32 threaded holes against future wear or in original equipment manufacturing (OEM) applications where enhanced thread strength is required for soft materials.
