5-Piece Screw Extractor Set - Black & Decker

The Black & Decker 16270 5-Piece Screw Extractor Set offers a robust solution for professional technicians and mechanics encountering challenging stripped, rusted, or broken fasteners. Engineered for precise and reliable extraction, this set provides a dependable method to remove damaged screws and bolts, effectively minimizing potential collateral damage and repair escalation in demanding automotive and industrial settings.

Key Features

• Aggressive Reverse Spiral Flutes: Designed to cut into and securely grip damaged screw and bolt shanks, ensuring efficient torque transfer and slip-free extraction, even on rounded or corroded fasteners.
• Precision Tapered Design: The tapered profile accurately guides each extractor into pre-drilled pilot holes, maintaining stable, non-slip engagement during counter-clockwise fastener removal.
• Professional-Grade Hardened Steel Construction: Manufactured from high-grade hardened steel, these extractors are built for exceptional durability and resilience, suitable for repeated use with hand tools or low-speed power tools.
• Reduced Collateral Damage: Facilitates clean fastener removal, helping to preserve threads in components made from materials like aluminum or cast iron, thereby reducing the need for costly re-threading or part replacement.

Applications

• Automotive Repair: Ideal for extracting seized or stripped bolts from critical components such as cylinder heads, intake and exhaust systems, various brackets, body hardware, and interior fasteners across both domestic and import vehicles.
• Fleet and Industrial Maintenance: Effectively removes broken screws and bolts from pumps, compressors, conveyor systems, and general plant equipment, contributing to reduced operational downtime.
• Fabrication and Assembly Work: Addresses damaged fasteners in metal fabrication, equipment assembly, cabinetry, and other maintenance projects where thread integrity and precise removal are critical.
