During assembly of the NVG 1500, the reverse synchronizer must be installed over a shaft deep into the transmission. Current tools do not have the required 17" reach to correctly install the synchronizer onto the shaft.

The Kent-Moore J-44339 Reverse Synchronizer Installer is a long reach tool that allows you to properly install the reverse synchronizer onto the shaft. The tool features a 17" reach and a 1-3/8" diameter head. It is made of steel and has a black oxide finish.
