You hold the fan clutch stationary with the clutch holder tool, and turn the fan clutch nut with the special wrench. Most wrenches feature a square drive for attaching a breaker bar for extra torque. Timesavers when when replacing water pumps, or for any other front engine service in body or repair shops.
