Never use polycarbonate plastic bowls on air supplied by a compressor lubricated with synthetic oils or oil containing phosphate esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons. Materials such as trichloroethylene, acetone, paint thinner, or cleaning fluids will craze and/or rupture a polycarbonate bowl.
