Traditional manual caulking guns require trigger pressure to create push rod force. Most guns have a 4 or 5 to one ratio, 40 pounds on the handle produces 160 pounds of force. The MERITOOL gun takes one pound of trigger force and creates 180 pounds of force in the DS110 and almost 500 pounds in the DS130.

The MERITOOL gun is also superior to other air powered guns that utilize air to push on the back of the cartridge thereby creating a situation where the air can cause blow-by, blow-thru and/or splatter.

The patented MERITOOL incremental feed generates safe power dispensing up to 18" of material per second with no blow-by.
