The Robinair 18490 R134A POE Oil Injector Tool is engineered for precise and efficient POE (Polyolester) oil injection into R134A automotive air conditioning systems. This professional-grade tool ensures proper lubrication, essential for maintaining optimal performance and extending the lifespan of critical A/C components. It allows technicians to add up to 2 ounces of polyolester lubricant directly to fully pressurized A/C systems, eliminating the need for system recovery.

Key Features

Durable Construction: Built with robust, high-quality materials to withstand the demands of professional shop environments, ensuring long-term reliability and service life.
Accurate POE Oil Delivery: Specifically designed for the precise injection of POE oil, preventing over or underfilling of R134A systems and potential cross-contamination.
R134A System Compatibility: Universally compatible with R134A refrigerant systems, and suitable for hybrid and electric compressors requiring POE oil, making it a versatile addition to any professional technician's toolkit.
Clear POE Labeling: Features distinct labeling to confirm POE oil compatibility, reducing the risk of incorrect oil application and helping to maintain compressor warranties.
User-Friendly Design: Includes a low-side manual quick coupler for instant connection to the vehicle's A/C system, allowing for simple operation by filling the barrel and pressing the plunger to inject oil.

Applications

This tool is essential for automotive A/C maintenance, including servicing and recharging R134A systems in a variety of vehicles. It is ideally suited for precise oil replacements or top-offs where POE oil is specified, particularly in hybrid and electric vehicles with electric A/C compressors, ensuring proper compressor lubrication and system integrity. The syringe-type injector can add oil to fully pressurized A/C systems, saving time during compressor replacement and other service tasks.
