The Quick Ripple Tester is designed to easily and efficiently test alternators for a variety of issues, including ripple, through the DC outlet (cigarette lighter).
Allows the user to test an alternator for bad diodes, bad stators, and intermittent diodes or stators without ever lifting the hood. Simply plug the tester into the vehicles DC port and the tester will give results in a series of LED flashes to pinpoint exact problem.
