500 Amp Variable Battery Load Tester

Continuous duty, 500 amp testing with heavy duty Carbon Pile load control for 6 and 12 volt batteries up to 1,000 Cold Cranking Amps.

A versatile, accurate service bay battery testing tool for heavy duty battery service. Large dual meter displays are scaled numerically and in simple English "pass-fail" messages.

Also measures alternator charging voltage and relative starter current draw.

Large Dual Meters
Two large 4 inch analog meters display battery voltage and load current. Test results are color coded in simple English "pass-fail" messages in addition to numerical display.

Heavy Duty Carbon Pile Resistors

Variable load current from 0 to 500 amps is controlled by a heavy duty carbon pile stack designed for easy load control. Carbon piles are convection cooled for quick duty cycles for high volume testing.

Clamps/Cables

Solid copper 500 amp jaws in vinyl coated side terminal clamps assure strong connections and rugged durability. Heavy industrial grade stranded cable has internal molded sense leads for added reliability.

Temperature Adjustments
The tester adjusts to compensate for battery temperatures from 0 to 125oF. Scaled in oF and oC.

Cart/Stand
A mobile tester cart/stand is available for car side use in service bay locations. Model TC 2 provides a wheeled stand with a battery tool box and clamp storage hooks.
