Automotive Mechanic Tools

Automotive mechanics use a variety of tools to diagnose and repair vehicles. These tools can be categorized into three main types: hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

Hand tools are the most basic type of tools and are used for a variety of tasks, such as tightening bolts, removing screws, and cutting wires. Some of the most common hand tools include wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.

Power tools are used for tasks that require more power than can be generated by hand tools. These tools include drills, saws, and grinders. Power tools can be either corded or cordless.

Measuring tools are used to accurately measure various dimensions of a vehicle, such as the length, width, and height of a part. Some of the most common measuring tools include micrometers, calipers, and rulers.
