For use on Aluminum and Steel Heads With Exhaust and/or Intake Manifolding Still Attached.
This univerrsal Vise Mount Head Stand has been designed to hold cylinder heads up and away from the work bench. This will allow clearance for exhaust and/or intake manifolding to be left on the heads which is preferred when working on many front wheel drive four cylinder engines.
In operation, this tool is clamped to the bench vise and with its movable arms will adjust to any cylinder head configuration. The holding rods have a long 5 inch taper which allows them to go further into the stud hole for more contact and a very firm secure grip on the head. These holding rods are also heat treated to remain smooth for use on aluminum heads.
This universal tool will also work as a conventional bench head stand when clearance for the exhaust and/or intake manifolding is not necessary. Simply slide the arms off the vise held crossbar and use them separately on the top of any bench.
This universal "two in one" tool comes in a black finish.
