Factory preset to control assembly torque. The extension works by limiting the amount of torque transferred from the impact wrench to the fastener. The shaft actually flexes with each blow of the impact wrench once the specified torque is achieved. Recommended for repeated assembly torque applications, engine and transmission repair.
