Building off the solid design of the Sawzall recip saw line, the new V28 model surpasses the performance of the competition - to deliver a tool that users report can be used all day and in the toughest cutting conditions.
The saw has a 1-1/8" stroke length driven by Milwaukee's drive train with a gear-protecting clutch for long life. Users familiar with other Sawzall models will feel comfortable with the rugged metal Quik-Lok(TM) blade clamp for fast, tool-free blade changes and a tool-free adjustable shoe that quickly sets blade depth. At the rear of the tool, a two-speed switch is thumb-handy so users can quickly shift between low (0-2,000 SPM) and high (0-3,000 SPM) cutting speeds. At 3,000 SPM, it's as fast as Milwaukee's corded Orbital Super Sawzall. And, the handle's comfortable non-slip soft grip reduces vibration and fatigue.
Heavy Duty Difference: The V28 Sawzall recip saw can make 25 percent more crosscuts in 2" x 10" pine than its nearest 24-volt competitor that weighs nearly 25 percent more. The nearest 18 volt tool can't even cut half as many on one charge.
