The PrismPro Series takes the guesswork out of identification by displaying a refrigerant type only if it’s pure enough to recover or recharge. Other infrared systems identify the various refrigerants in the sample, leaving it up to the technician to decide whether the refrigerant is safe to use. PrismPro offers a 90% purity level,* 3-channel medium frequency wave length optical sensor and identifies R-12 and R-134a. PrismPro-OE offers all the features of PrismPro but at a higher purity level (98%),* with 4-channel high frequency wave length optical sensor and additional refrigerant identification (FRIGC and Freeze 12) tomeet OEM’s stricter requirements forrefrigerant purity.Texas Instruments. Takes less than two minutes to display refrigerant type and air content. Expansion valve prevents liquid refrigerant from damaging the sensor. Alarm sounds when potentially flammable hydrocarbons are present and is also indicated on the display. Comes complete and ready to use. All you do is connect the hose and turn on the power.
