CJ4 OBDII Scan Tool with Labscope, Enhanced Data

The 9240-IR is an automotive diagnostic package with scanning and labscope functions based on the CJ4 scantool. The scanning capabilities of the CJ4 allow to retrieve global and enhanced data through the OBDII connector, while the labscope functionality will “see” waveforms from electric wires, sensors, actuators and electrical circuits.

Other features include: screenshot capture, easy to update, free PC software, USB and serial ports. Powered by vehicle (no batteries needed). Bilingual operation, English and Spanish. Live data graphing capability.

The CJ4 is able to retrieve generic and global diagnostic data from all OBDII compliant vehicles, model years 1996 thru 2009. It retrieves diagnostic information from Powertrain systems, engine data and transmission DTCs. Generic diagnostic information includes clear and retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)P0, P1, P2, P3, U0 and U1, turn off MIL light, vehicle ID, Freeze Frame Data, generic live data, readiness status, Oxygen sensors and Mode 6 data.

The 9240-IR package includes the SHARK module which allows the CJ4 scantool to retrieve enhanced data from vehicles. The enhanced data relates to manufacturer specific information and is vehicle dependant. Below is a listing of the included functionality and coverage in the current software version.
