Without a battery attached, use the unique wire insulation-piercing tip on the red (positive clamp) to connect the memory saver to the main positive battery cable. Connect the black clamp to a ground source. The light will illuminate to indicate proper connection. Connect a fully charged 9V battery (not included) and the vehicle is protected. Features: - Saves memory settings from under the hood.
