iSCAN has full OEM level diagnostics and coding. This is the same functionality as the VAG1551 and VAG5052 (except flash programming). All on board systems are accessed, all coding and programming (except flash programming of EEPROMs) can be accomplished, all security systems unlocked. It is recommended that the user should have the Factory Repair CD ROM`s from Bentley Publishing in their shop`s library to properly use the iSCAN software, decode and troubleshoot, the VW/Audi datablock information and access the procedures for coding, programming, adaptation and basic setting.
