Y-CAR
The electronic control modules and computers an the 1997 Corvette all
multiplex their serial data to the Body Control Module . If a module or
computer malfunctioning it does not communicate properly and the data
output at the DLC is unreadable by the Tech 2. The problem circuit or
component must be isolated and replaced before data can be interpreted
by the scan tool.
