A perfect companion to any battery/charging system tester.
Connects between battery & negative battery cable, providing instant feedback of a possible parasitic battery drain condition in an undriven vehicle.
Often, the dome light, power relays, or glove box light may have been on, creating a problem if the vehicle hasn`t been started regularly.
This tester prevents unnecessary replacement of a suspected battery or charging system component by verifying that a parasitic drain was responsible for the low battery condition.
Tester is calibrated to current vehicle manufacturer standards, to allow certain acceptable parasitic loads while detecting those which are above specific limits.
PCM shutdown loads, capacitor charging, & driver information panel loads have been calibrated into this tester.
